First things first...

State: Texas

Area: DFW

Time of Year: Tail end of summer

Climate: Night time warm

Mood: Lemonade Mouth!

Well as the post title suggests…first things first!

My most favored product…so far.

M·A·C Pro Longwear Paint Pot in Indianwood

Now M·A·C claims that this product is a ‘highly pigmented eye colour that goes on creamy but dries to an intense, vibrant finish. Long-wearing, colourfast. Creates seamless coverage without weight or caking. Blends smoothly over the lids. Cream-based, can be mixed with M·A·C shadows and liners.’

Taken from the MAC Cosmetics website.

So at the risk of overusing the word love. I love this product. I pretty much use the business out of it…I’m just sayin’.

It’s kind of a dark, bronze gold in the pot, but on my lids it’s a bright eye popping bronze gold. There is nothing dark or dull about this. Though there is shimmer there is no glitter, thus no fallout. Which is most awesome.

Now as to why this is my HG and always in my bag if I’m traveling. This paint pot, while it can double as a shadow base, applies beautifully from base to brow and with a secondary shadow I have a complete look in minutes. Great for the go and small enough to go with me in my carry-on. Which is a major plus because sadly the jars are glass and I would have for something to happen to it in my checked bag.

As for being highly pigmented, on me it blends very well so it’s not crazy bright- which there is nothing wrong with that, mind you- but it is buildable so I can build it up if I do want that wild brightness. Though I prefer the doe look when I wear this color so I steer clear from that.

Long-wearing, I can attest vehemently to the fact that this does last a very, very long time in regular wear as well as under the extreme conditions of Texas summer heat and a day of working outside sweating the rest of my face off.

Sadly I don’t have pictures from that day in question, which was yesterday to be true, but while it’s fresh in my mind I was entirely surprised on how it held up while I was working like a haggard mule, not to mention the comments I got on my eyes throughout the day. Insert crazy face here man.

All in all, before I start talking in circles. Most. Fave’d item. To the Date, my friend.

That is it and that is all.

                                                                                                           -L.C.

P.S. This morning, September 3rd, M.A.C. released a new line on their website that I quickly and in a sleepy haze bought three shades of Retro Matte Lipsticks from. So be sure to look out for a post on those awesome colors!
